By accessing or using Docreach's telemedicine service via WhatsApp, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our service.

2. Description of Service

Docreach provides a technology platform that:

• Connects patients with licensed healthcare providers for telemedicine consultations
• Uses AI to assist in collecting patient symptoms and medical history
• Facilitates the delivery of prescriptions and medical advice via WhatsApp

Docreach is a technology service provider and does not itself provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

3. User Eligibility

For Patients

• You must be at least 18 years old to use the service independently
• Users under 18 may use the service with parental or guardian consent
• You must provide accurate and complete information about your health

For Doctors

• You must be a licensed medical practitioner registered with the appropriate medical council in India
• You must maintain a valid and active medical license
• You must comply with the Telemedicine Practice Guidelines issued by the Board of Governors in supersession of the Medical Council of India

4. Medical Disclaimer

Important: Docreach is not a substitute for emergency medical care. If you are experiencing a medical emergency, please call emergency services or go to your nearest hospital immediately.

The AI assistant used by Docreach provides support for information collection only. All medical decisions, diagnoses, and prescriptions are made by licensed doctors who review each case.

5. Limitations of Telemedicine

You acknowledge that telemedicine has limitations, including:

• The inability to perform physical examinations
• Potential technical issues that may affect the consultation
• The possibility that certain conditions may not be suitable for remote diagnosis

Doctors may recommend in-person visits when necessary for proper diagnosis or treatment.

6. User Responsibilities

Patients agree to:

• Provide accurate and complete health information
• Not misuse the service for obtaining controlled substances
• Follow up with in-person care when recommended
• Pay applicable consultation fees

Doctors agree to:

• Provide care in accordance with professional standards
• Maintain patient confidentiality
• Refer patients for in-person care when appropriate
• Comply with all applicable laws and regulations

7. Fees and Payment

Consultation fees are displayed before you begin a consultation. By proceeding with a consultation, you agree to pay the applicable fees. Payments are processed securely through our payment partners.

8. Intellectual Property

All content on Docreach, including text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Docreach or its licensors and is protected by intellectual property laws.

9. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Docreach shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the service.

Docreach is a technology platform connecting patients with doctors and is not responsible for the medical care provided by doctors on the platform.

10. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Docreach and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the service or violation of these terms.

11. Modifications to Service

We reserve the right to modify or discontinue the service at any time without notice. We may also update these Terms of Service from time to time.

12. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by the laws of India. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in Bangalore, India.
